NOTICE ON ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
A consumer has the right to contact the real estate agency with a request for remedy if a dispute has arisen between the consumer and the real estate agency concerning the exercise of rights arising from liability for defects, or if the consumer believes that the real estate agency has violated other consumer rights.
If the real estate agency has responded to the consumer's request for remedy by rejecting it, or has not responded within the statutory period, the consumer has the right to file a proposal to initiate alternative dispute resolution (ADR) pursuant to Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on Alternative Resolution of Consumer Disputes, with the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority.
A proposal may be submitted in written form, electronically, or orally into the record. The consumer's right to bring the matter before a court remains unaffected.
